Using the Canva app and website was amazing it allowed me to be creative and more importantly it allowed me to be creative freely. A problem that I run into with other apps is that I buy the apps for $0.99 or more these apps promise to be great collage or photo editors but actually are worse than the ones that I find free.
The Canva app is an easy to use app that has a lot of options to use in it. One thing that frustrated and disheartened me about the Canva app and website was that I would be searching through the options looking for something to use and something would catch my eye, I would then look at this amazing thing and then look in the corner of it to realize it would cost $1.00 to use it. I know that the app/website has to make money but I wished they would separate the things that cost money and the things that were free so that I didn't have to look at the cool things that cost money.
Another thing that frustrated me immensely is that every time you undo or redo something you look at a little circle that goes around and around and around at the top of our screen because essentially everything is frozen until it finish saving it. This is frustrating in that when you make a mistake and then try to undo it, it is a very slow about undoing it because it has to save it after every time.
Overall the app and website aren't bad but I wouldn't recommend it to my friends and family based on the few projects that I created in it I can't see how it beats what I am using now. I will be going back to the app Piccollage for creating posters in the future because it allows me to be even more creative faster and doesn't charge you for using things inside of the app.
